Ken is a Partner at Atkins David LLC.  Since 1993, he has concentrated his practice in workers’ compensation on behalf of employers, both big and small, and their insurance companies/third party administrators.  Through his 27 years representing employers whose workers are injured on the job,  Ken has developed a related practice of Workplace Crisis Management.

Ken is the author of a workers’ compensation manual entitled Employer’s Guide to Workers’ Compensation Claims in Georgia.  He also publishes  a comprehensive step by step analysis of multiple scenarios for addressing Medicare issues in workers’ compensation including Medicare Set-Aside Allocations (MSAs) and conditional payments.  He has led quarterly Roundtable discussions for the past 15 years and is now supplementing on-site training with on-line education including podcasts.

Ken uses his nearly three decades of experience to help clients look at challenges in different ways and to offer solutions that not only solve the current problem, but provide a means to avoid them from returning in the future.  And he will not hesitate  to go to Court if that is the best way for a successful resolution.

Ken received his B.A. degree with Honors from Brown University in 1990.  He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1993.
