Cody received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, he competed in the Willem C. Vis. International Commercial Arbitration Moot twice, leading the team as captain his second year. He also served as president of OUTLaw. While completing his juris doctorate, Cody had the unique opportunity of working at a law firm in Beijing, China, assisting with matters pertaining to antitrust, intellectual property, and international trade law.
Prior to joining the team at Atkins David, Cody served as an Assistant Public Defender in Walton County, Georgia for two years.
Cody received his B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Miami. Before law school, Cody taught English at Heilongjiang International University in Harbin, China.
