Madison (Maddie) Zgonc focuses her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining Atkins David LLC, she represented the State of Georgia as an assistant district attorney, prosecuting major felony offenses. During her time as an assistant district attorney, Maddie tried multiple bench and jury trials. This experience allows her to be an effective advocate both inside and outside of the courtroom.
Maddie earned her B.A. from Mercer University in 2019 and her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2022.
From 2019 until 2022, Maddie acted as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), representing the interests of foster children in the juvenile court system. Additionally, Maddie was a mock trial coach at North Clayton High School during the 2023-2024 school year.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and trying new restaurants around Atlanta.
