Wes is a Partner at Atkins David LLC representing employers, insurers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia. He has a wide array of experience in bringing workers’ compensation claims to successful resolutions before Administrative Law Judges throughout the state. He is also well versed in the appellate process, and has defended numerous hearing awards before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation’s Appellate Division and Superior Courts in the State of Georgia. His experience involves working with a wide array of clientele of various sizes who operate in numerous sectors throughout Georgia, including but not limited to, the transportation, landscaping, manufacturing, staffing, and hospitality industries.
Wes is a graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, he was selected by his colleagues to serve on the Moot Court Executive Board and competed in several national competitions. He won the First Place Best Brief Award at the Cardozo Moot Court Competition in New York City. Additionally, he excelled in numerous litigation and advocacy courses, such as Advanced Evidence, Advanced Trial Practice, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He received his B.B.A. in Managerial Science from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Prior to attending law school, he toured the United States as a professional musician and worked at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. When not practicing law, he enjoys landscaping, cooking, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
