At the request of clients, Alissa frequently speaks at seminars reviewing major case law updates, legislative changes, and other matters of interest. She monitors pending legislation for the firm’s clients, and has participated in legislative committee hearings. Her opinions on pending legislative changes have been quoted in a national business publication.
Alissa graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University in Boston with an honors degree in History. She received her J.D. from Georgia State University School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Moot Court Board. The four years she spent as a litigation paralegal between college and law school give her a unique perspective on the practice of law and allow her to better see all sides of a case.
Alissa is a member of the Workers’ Compensation sections of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. She is also involved in the Atlanta Claims Association.
Alissa has earned a Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethics.
